Homelessness is a complex social problem and stigma caused by some economic and social factors such as poverty, unemployment,  lack of affordable housing, physical and mental health, addictions, and community and family breakdown;  as a result thousands of people are forced to live in the streets, under the bridges, in parks, and shelters since they lack a place of their own to live, due to no gainful employment. We believe that the most effective way to end homelessness in our society  is to empower the homeless men and women to be self-employed,  by equipping  them with some job skills and training that can help them to be self-employed  and employable, hence self-sufficient to be reintegrated into the society.

The King’s Touch Ministry cares for the total well-being of the homeless men, women and children, be it physical, spiritual or psychological needs. This vision of building a development center for the homeless, where they can be equipped with job skills and training that will empower  them to be self-employed and self-sufficient. This act of empowerment is better than just giving them packs of sandwiches, or  arms on the street, with no hope of self-sufficiency and economic freedom.  At King’s Touch Ministry, we owe it as a duty to protect and empower the homeless men and women with job skills and training that will make them self-employed, employable and self-sufficient.
